NH1 First Alert Weather: More humid weekend, strong storms possible Monday

NH1 Meteorologist

More humid air will be moving into New Hampshire this weekend. Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day with a few showers, but most of the time will be rain free. The airmass will be capable of highs in the 80s with enough sunshine, but clouds will limit how warm we get. A wind off of the water will keep the seacoast in the upper 60s to low 70s. Inland towns make a run at the upper 70s to around 80 degrees with enough sunny breaks.

Sunday looks hotter with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees inland. The coast will be a bit cooler, but still, it will be a very warm and humid day. Only a spot shower or thunderstorm is possible on Sunday.

Sunday night will be uncomfortable with moderate to high humidity and temperatures dropping no lower than 70 degrees in spots.

Monday looks to be warm and humid again, but strong thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon as a cold front moves into the region. It's too early to determine the exact timeframe, but this is one of the more favorable severe weather set-ups we have had so far this warm season.

Tuesday may start showery, but the sky should clear during the day. Wednesday and Thursday look decent with highs around 80.
